Gerben Kamphuis of Almelo, Holland is a second generation KNPV trainer. His father began breeding Malinois for the KNPV in 1965. Gerben was involved with the breeding and training of police dogs with his father from early childhood.
As a breeder, his kennel produced about 8 litters annually for the KNPV. You can find his bloodlines in most of the best working dogs in Holland. He produced great dogs for the KNPV such as Bono Pegge, 440 point, 4th Place National Championships.
Gerben began doing decoy work for his father at the age of 12. On his 16th birthday he became an official member of the KNPV. He has been the personal decoy for the world renowned KNPV competitors Hans Pegge, J V D Berg and Appie Kamps. He has done the decoy training work for some of the most well known KNPV dogs in modern times such as: Arko Kikkert, Rudie Pegge, Pecco Pegge, Arras Pegge, Rico V D Berg, Quatro and Robiek , and many more.
Most recently he helped Hans Pegge decoy Rudie Jr in training for a 2nd Place finish at the 2008 Dutch National Championships.
As a trainer he has earned 10 KNPV Certificates, 7 dogs to PH1, 2 Dogs in Object Guard and 1 Dog from his own breeding to PH 2.

Directions: 25 min. drive from Lewisburg, WV to LHK in Williamsburg, WV (Alta exit 161 off of I64)
Take exit 161 off interstate 64. Turn north onto Rt 12, go about 1/4 mile and turn east onto Rt 60, go about 200 yards and make the first left onto Sinking Creek Road. Follow Sinking Creek Road for 8.5 miles, to a gravel driveway on the left, look for a small sign that reads "Rolling Hills Farm Road" on the left by the driveway. Turn left into that driveway and travel to the first "Y" intersection, take a left and go up the hill and travel to the second "Y" intersection, turn right and travel straight to the kennel.
